YOUR MISSION

Lead the development plan – Product Management(40%)

  • Own and lead the definition of the product roadmap in collaboration with sales, marketing, R&D, CTO and strategic partnerships
  • Research and identify industry needs and trends, develop market and business intelligence to support product roadmap development and evolution
  • Formal definition of product requirements, product vision and positioning, business case for new and existing products
  • In charge of the product line, pricing strategy, business model, P&L analysis and reporting
  • In collaboration with marketing, develop product marketing plan
  • Ownership and authoring of product documentation and specifications (ex: spec sheets, user’s guides, brochures, white papers, application notes, etc.)

Supporting the sales force and business development to win business and deliver value(BDM)(40%)

  • Lead product evangelist
  • Visit key customers, gives, or organize trainings to the sales force and BDM, participate to sales meetings and attend trade shows
  • Define and deliver the product documentation, the pre-sale and after-sale tools needed to win business
  • Participates in the redaction of commercial offers (e.g. technical proposals, project plans and statements of work) by articulating tailored value proposition for each customer

Team management(10%)

  • Manage the personnel under his or her authority by complying with the mission, values and company management practices and by sharing those ones.
  • Assign and coordinate the technical work of the department
  • Recruit, train and coach the personnel of his or her department, in compliance with the effective policies
  • Ensure a good communication within his or her team.

Contribute to the development of the organization (10%)

  • Facilitate collaboration and value creation across regions and departments
  • Keep your knowledge up to date

The ideal candidate for this position will have

  • Master’s degree or Ph. D. in engineering or physics
  • MBA an asset
  • 5+ years of product line management experience and customer facing experience including tier-1 and OEMs in the automotive industry
  • 3-10 years of experience in R&D projects related to LiDAR or the semiconductor industry, used for driving-assistance applications, active security and/or autonomous driving (automotive industry)
  • Autonomous work skills and very high capacity to resolve problems
  • Easiness to understand customer pains, use cases and translate them in requirements
  • Ability to define and articulate a clear value proposition
  • English fluency mandatory, fluency in French an asset
  • Availability to travel up to 20% of the time
  • Solid technical foundations combined with a strong business orientation
  • Outstanding communication skills, both oral and written, with various customers (external customers, management, engineering team, etc.)
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Strong experience in people management and developing high potential individuals
