THE OPPORTUNITY
Join our Medical and Scientific Affairs team supporting our Medical Devices business with strategic, tactical and operational leadership. You will build strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders to enhance the external environment and provide the fastest access to new products or indications.

Reporting to the Medical Director- Medical Affairs, ANZ you will work to foster understanding of how data may be applied in medical practice while collaborating to align relevant clinical and scientific insights with sales and marketing strategies that meet the needs of healthcare professionals and patients.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop, implement and monitor local medical strategy to address key priorities
  • Ensure compliance with relevant internal and external local and international laws, regulations and codes
  • Forecast and present business cases to support strategic and tactical activities
  • Actively participate and contribute to the Medical Lead Team
  • Contribute to development, review and approval of promotional materials
  • Build and maintain a high level of clinical and scientific knowledge
  • Identify, plan and develop data generation programs to support product development
  • Facilitate and encourage a cohesive, cross functional approach to all aspects of the business
  • Develop and implement strategies to support registration and reimbursement objectives
  • Travel both locally and internationally as a representative of the local business and advocates for the needs of the ANZ business, patients and healthcare providers.

Qualifications


ITS ALL ABOUT YOU

  • Medical (MD & PhD), Life sciences or related degree is highly desirable
  • Broad healthcare system knowledge with clinical practice experience in ANZ or a similar health system will be highly regarded
  • Relevant industry experience within medical devices or pharmaceutical industries will be an advantage
  • Exposure to General surgery
  • Commitment to improvement in patient outcomes
  • Prior experience in working across cross-functional commercial and clinical teams.
