We’re looking to fill an important functional leader position in Nutrien’s Global SAP S/4 Centre of Excellence (COE). This SAP S/4 COE Lead will be responsible for the Global Design and Functional Architecture of Nutrien’s SAP S/4 Landscape with additional focus on the Forecast to Produce area. We are still early stages of our global journey to optimize the landscape and system design and will focus on the end user experience. With a focus on Nutrien’s emerging global S/4 technology footprint, you’ll not only shape the strategy, you’ll execute it.

Reporting to the Director, Enterprise Applicaitons


What you will do:

  • Partner with and provide leadership, guidance, and vision to global IDS and project teams ensuring SAP solutions meet business requirements, achieve a high level of systems integration, follow SAP best practice, and enrich the user experience
  • Own and maintain the global ERP Roadmap for Nutrien, and protect global business processes
  • Advise IDS and business leadership teams on functional strategy and roadmaps in the SAP S/4 landscape to drive transformation and innovation forward
  • Accountable to manage both Forecast to Produce (F2P) and Enterprise Assess Management (EAM) global S/4 process areas by working directly with business and project stakeholders across the globe
  • Balance the needs of the company from a global and local level to ensure applications delivery satisfaction across the organization
  • Audit and review use of technologies, with a focus on S/4 Implementations, SAP Technology roadmap
  • This role will include travel as per project needs mostly in North America

What you will bring:

  • Undergraduate degree or diploma from a recognized university or technical school in Computer Science, Business, or other related field
  • 10+ years in a senior functional leadership role, or principle consultant role, delivering solutions in a global, heterogeneous business environment
  • Experience with S/4 IBP (Integrated Business planning) desirable
  • Experience implementing global SAP S/4 solutions from design through development, testing, training and cutover
  • Functional experience in SAP S/4, and understanding of how that technology is used across multiple business functions, in multiple industries, to deliver business value
  • Experience in managing a team to maintain SAP S/4 landscape across multiple geographies in a cloud environment
  • Functional business process knowledge in Forecast to Produce and ideally Enterprise Asset Management
  • Strong drive for results and experience delivering solid architectures while delivery to a project timelines
  • Strong communication skills at various levels from executives down to analysts
  • Techno-Functional expert with deep knowledge of the functional domain, as well the SAP S/4 technology stack
  • Experience in establishing rapport with stakeholders to ensure solutions are designed to meet end user needs
  • Prior experience in a global organization with global template rollout with localization need is an added advantage. Worked part of a SAP Global COE will be an added advantage
  • Experience with SAP landscape management and non-SAP applications in a global context
  • Ability to perform RCA on technical and potential SAP functional issues in production
  • Experience with planning SAP landscape and change management processes in the initial stages
  • Experience in SAP deliveries with multiple streams and different industries
  • SAP technology, integration, performance optimization experience is an asset
  • SAP certification in any of the above areas

Compensation & Benefits:


Salary Range: $99,050 - $141,500 USD. This range is estimated for a Senior Manager, SAP COE in Loveland, Colorado. Actual salary and benefits may differ based upon location.
