As the new Senior Hydrogeologist/ Engineeryou will be responsible for the design and implementation of environmental site assessments and remediation systems.

A Typical Work Day
  • Development of conceptual site models
  • Analysis and interpretation of environmental data, preparation of technical reports, and detailed technical review.
  • Being a point of contact for clients and solve issues related to remediation and site assesments.
  • Consulting with, as well as answering technical questions from colleagues, clients, and regulatory agencies.
  • On-going development of client relationships, as well as expanding site assessment and remediation service offerings.
  • Mentoring junior and intermediate staff ( technicians and engineers)
Qualifications
  • 10 + years consulting experience focusing primarily on Environmental Site Assessments, Remedial Action Plans, Records of Site Condition, etc.
  • Post-secondary education in engineering or hydrogeology with a proven specialty in contaminant hydrogeology, environmental site assessments and remediation.
  • Licensed under the Professional Engineers – Ontario (P.Eng.) or Association of Professional Geoscientists of Ontario, (P.Geo.).
  • A Qualified Person for Environmental Site Assessment and/or Remediation per O. Reg. 153/04 requirements.
  • Experience implementing soil vapour intrusion studies, as well as mitigation systems is considered an asset.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Aptitude for attention to detail to ensure a high degree of quality assurance and quality control
  • Strong people and team skills as well as being highly motivated
  • Proven problem-solving ability and resourcefulness
  • An ability to work in a fast-paced team environment with little to no supervision
  • Exceptional organizational capabilities, coordination and consultation skills
  • Ability to work on a number of projects at once and proven ability to successfully meet deadlines
  • A valid driver’s license
