We are looking for a Cost Analyst who has experience in Canadian cannabis industry.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Application of Costing Model to new products proposed by Sales and R&D
• Maintenance of Costing Model to ensure accuracy of costing to standards.
• Monitoring cost variances
• Analyzing pricing and margins of products and defining optimal price points
• Calculating and implementing cost standards for materials, labour, and overhead
• Preparing cost of goods sold and production reports
• Analyzing various product and operational costs
• Performing other month-end close activities
• Assisting in the budget process - cost of sales and other expense accounts as assigned
• Analyze financial results and prepare forecasts.
• Perform general accounting duties as assigned by CEO.
• Responsible for the preparation of monthly financial statements and external reporting to financial institutions, ensuring that all reporting requirements are met.
• Work with sales on product pricing, costing and margins.
• Establish and monitor internal controls to ensure that accounting activities are in accordance with established legal regulatory and company policies and procedures.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: $50,000.00-$70,000.00 per year

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
