Senior AccountantJob Description

CRSP CPA Corp., is a North-Shore based CPA firm providing accounting, assurance, tax, and valuation services. We are an approved CPA training office and currently have an opening for a full-time Senior Accountant. This role is intended for individuals who are close to writing or have recently written the CFE and who have the desire to become a Manager.

The ideal candidate for this position is enthusiastic and reliable. Previous experience in public practice is also a requirement.

Responsibilities and Duties

· Prepare and review year-end financial statements and corporate tax returns, for both compilations and reviews;

· Assist with the review and preparation of various tax compliance returns (T3s, T4s, T5s, etc.);

· Prepare and review personal tax returns;

· Actively mentor the firm’s CPA students; and

· Communicate clearly with clients and team members.

Qualifications and Skills

· Demonstrated understanding of accounting and assurance concepts, supported by successful completion of CPA PEP;

· Strong understanding of Microsoft Office;

· Strong understanding of Caseware and tax preparation software (Taxprep or Profile); and

· Experience with accounting software (QuickBooks, QuickBooks Online and Sage).
