My missionI support and empower employees on the processes under my responsibility.My mission as a senior accountant is toensure the reliability and relevance of financial informationfor the processes under my responsibility. Therefore, I am responsible for all accounting activities of the processes under my responsibility, including bookkeeping, account management, financial statement preparation, budget management, and tax and regulatory compliance.I establish and ensure the implementation of internal controls to ensure that financial information is reliable and to reduce risks.Objective and purpose

• I participate in continuous process improvement
• I ensure to provide fair, reliable, and timely financial information to enable local actors to make the best decisions
• I ensure process compliance by supporting employees
• I communicate in a friendly manner with internal and external interlocutors to ensure good business relationships

Processes under my responsibility

• Processes related to the e-commerce platform
• Margin and inventory processes related to procurement activities
• Payroll process
• Cashing-in process

Tasks

• Supervise daily transactions, including accounts receivable/payable, bank and ledger reconciliations
• Participate in regular tax audits and payroll management
• Prepare budget reports
• Manage month-end and year-end closing
• Track financial and accounting objectives’ progress
• Establish accounting policies and procedures corresponding to the company’s objectives

• Profitability and task productivity: Ratio of manual tasks to automatic and/or delegated tasks
• Quality of financial analysis

Skills & Experience

• 2 years of experience in accounting.

• Having experience and knowledge in accounting
• Being bilingual (The person must be available to communicate with our Québec team and also the rest of Canada)
• Having knowledge of Excel and Google Sheet
