Barber Collins security is looking for a Long term permanent full time Security Guard to work Full Time Nights

Access to your own personal vehicle is Required . Public transportation is not

Shifts*

*Shifts have a mandatory 2-week rotation

Shift : Nights

Monday Midnight to 8am, Tuesday Midnight to 8am, Wednesday Midnight to 8am , Thursday Midnight to 8am, Friday Midnight to 8am

Duties:

• Patrol facility
• Monitor CCTV
• Respond to medical emergencies
• Monitor access control
• Write detailed daily reports

Responsibilities:

• Protect company’s property and staff by maintaining a safe and secure environment.
• Take accurate notes of unusual occurrences.
• Monitor and control access at building entrances and vehicle gates. As well as conducting regular foot patrols.
• Watch alarm systems or video cameras and operate detecting/emergency equipment.
• Access control for the facility/area.
• Ensuring that the facility’s safety and emergency procedures are followed in response to site emergencies.
• Demonstrating judgement, common sense, and decision-making ability, particularly when required to take charge and direct others in emergencies or other incidents.

Skills:

• Proven work experience as a security guard or relevant position.
• Trained Security Guard with a diploma in a related field.
• Ability to operate detecting systems and emergency equipment.
• Excellent knowledge of public safety and security procedures/protocols.
• Surveillance skills and detail orientation.
• Integrity and professionalism.
• Ability to operate security equipment/systems, computers, radios, phones.
• Meticulous record keeping, report writing, observation skills.

Salary: Up to $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
