Here at The little Sparo we pride ourselves on being as close to an authentic Italian restaurant as you can get without going to Italy. Nothing but the freshest possible ingredients and top quality product go into our food. We want the best of the best. Along with creating amazing dishes in a scratch kitchen there are also perks associated with The little Sparo & The Double Tree Hilton since we share a common space

Duties include but not limited to;

Ensure great presentation by dressing dishes before they are served

*
Set up workstations with all needed ingredients and cooking equipment

*
Comfortable working all positions in the kitchen ( Grille, Garde, Pasta, Pizza)

*
Keep a sanitized and orderly environment in the kitchen

*
Ensure all food and other items are stored properly

*
Monitor stock and place orders with the chef when there are shortages

Qualifications:

*
Have strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate

*
Culinary Arts, or food and beverage management degree/diploma, or the equivalent in education and experience, is considered an asset

• Available to work in the evenings over weekends, and on statuary holidays.

• Capability to stand for prolonged periods and lift up to 50 lbs of weight

• Ability to reach, bend, stoop, walk, and carry multiple objects

Part-time hours: 25 - 30 hours per week
