Science Communicator – Education

Are you passionate about getting students interested in science, particularly coding? Do you love watching them get excited about learning? The Science Communicator – Education will be a key member of the Education and Northern Programs team, delivering and supporting programs and initiatives designed to achieve the unit’s objectives.

As the Science Communicator, you will participate in the development of workshops for both video conferencing and in-person programs. You will be responsible for the complete delivery of e-workshops (video conferencing), including all logistics and facilitation of these programs.

In order to be successful, you will be an exceptional communicator with a degree in applied science or education (or have equivalent related experience) and demonstrated strong program delivery experience. You will need to be fluent (written and verbal) in English and French and you will be highly organized with an ability to work in a fast-paced environment juggling multiple demands. This is a one-year full-time contract position through to September 2, 2022, at $1238 bi-weekly. Remote work may be available, based on business operations.
