As our Project Manager you are responsible for managing multiple software implementation projects ranging in size from 100 to 5000 hours, ensuring projects are properly scoped, managed, and delivered according to the budget and timelines set by the project team. You will be collaborating with a diverse team of consultants and technical resources while engaging clients at both an operational and senior management level.

What will you be doing?

  • Setup and manage a responsible project plan, setting deadlines, scheduling resources, and monitoring progress.
  • Completing regular status reports identifying areas of risk, financial reviews on budget to actual.
  • Ensuring client documents are executed timely and with quality.
  • Coordination of teams to ensure client requirements are captured and translate to the required work effort required to meet delivery objectives
  • Participation in the work intake process to prepare Statement of Work, including a Project Plan
  • Accurately forecast revenues, profitability, utilization metrics for all ongoing projects.
  • Review and approval of project time postings
  • Submission of project invoice requests to facilitate accurate weekly/monthly billing.
  • Conducting regular meetings with internal team members to ensure understanding and achievement of project deliverables
  • Identifying issues and impacts to the project scope in advance and engaging internal leadership and client management to develop action plan
  • Billable time target of 85% monthly
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of delivery methodology and repeatable delivery process and tools.

Requirements for this role

  • 5 years’ PM experience with ERP or large complex projects with budgets from $200K - $1M
  • Previous experience working with ERP software providing an understanding of Chart of Accounts, Finance, SCM, CRM functional area needs
  • Accounting knowledge
  • PMP certification, an asset
  • Able to translate high-level business requirements and define the Key Deliverables and Major Milestones for delivery
  • Capable of leading client meetings, including the development of an agenda, addressing, and prioritizing conflicting requirements, and following up on action items
  • Able to communicate effectively with internal and external delivery customers in a concise manner
  • Identifies strengths of team members and can effectively structure work activities to deliver project success
  • Have a relentless pursuit of process delivery improvement
