Do you want to be part of a dynamic Training group? Join our team! Reporting to the Sr. Manager, Sales Enablement and Training, the Multimedia and Operations Manager will coordinate the operational performance of a Learning Management System (LMS) for Global Sales Enablement and Training team and function as liaison between LMS technical support and training portfolio management. Supports the organizing and scheduling of training events for both internal and external training teams. Additionally, designs and develops, in partnership with the Instructional Designer, multimedia products such as explainer videos, narrated PowerPoint or other learning products based on project needs. He / She will help the team grow and expand organizational capabilities, and develop learning tools to meet current and strategic requirements. Will help to develop a learning culture that enables capability development across the organization.

This position will assist with assessment of regional, market, and functional training opportunities and administration of training programs that continuously improve SCIEX’s commercial sales effectiveness. Leads multiple projects concurrently including the development of technical and sales training and their implementation via regional training events.

This individual will be responsible for the following:
  • Have an active role in designing and deploying training/workshop events ensuring consistency of messaging and learning
  • Lead multiple projects simultaneously and adapting to multiple, changing priorities and complete within a timely manner
  • Partner in the development of the internal training vision
  • Maintain the daily operation of the LMS
  • Lead course content deployment in the LMS
  • Manage licensing and subscription of commercial training, development and coaching tools
  • Design and develop multimedia content to support our curriculum and enhance sales effectiveness
  • Determine, consult on, and implement effective multimedia tools.
  • Recognize and resolve the issues that may appear when it comes to course design, its configuration or infrastructure
  • Ensure that the LMS works properly and react when bugs or unexpected issues arise
Travel Requirements: Periodic travel to SCIEX facilities, on average of 4-6 weeks per year.

Required Qualifications:
  • Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in multimedia design, graphics design or related subject area
  • A minimum of three years of experience handling multimedia and LMS operations within a pharmaceutical, medical device or life science/diagnostic organization
  • Demonstrated technical expertise with LMS operations management and multimedia design tools
  • Demonstrates evidence of strong communication, facilitation, presentation, and interpersonal skills
  • Strong collaboration skills and the ability to work effectively with cross functional teams, subject matter authorities, and the business unit team to take ideas from concept through implementation
  • Hands-on knowledge of and experience designing and developing interactive, engaging, instructional and/or presentation materials
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with developing multimedia and course content in Biotechnology, Pharma or Life Sciences industries.
  • Experience in content delivery to and facilitation of diverse audiences
