What You’ll Do
  • Quoting, Order and Contract Management of capital equipment, consumables and services, using our Sage X3 system
  • Invoice collection for associated invoices as needed
  • Forecasting customer product sales
  • Working closely with our customers to support the sale of customized products
  • Responsible for maintaining the CRM (Customer Relationship Management system) by documenting customer communications and activity
  • Provide excellent customer service by following through with prompt and effective responses to customer inquiries
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with customers
  • Support the Customer Onboarding Initiative
  • Collaborate across departments (Planning, Manufacturing, Shipping and Finance) to communicate and meet customer requests in a timely fashion
  • Propose and facilitate internal process improvements
Who You Are
  • Extensive Inside Sales and/or Order Management experience within a high-tech manufacturing company - 5-10 years’ experience
  • Experience with the commercial sale of capital equipment and associated products is highly desirable
  • Excellent Customer Service, Interpersonal and Organizational skills
  • Proven ability to successfully support and manage customers
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Relevant experience with CRM and ERP systems is required
  • Science and/or pharmaceutical background is desirable but not essential
  • Ability to multi­task in a fast paced environment
  • Highly motivated and capable of working effectively both individually and as part of team
  • A business degree or diploma is desirable
