Job Description

Sales Specialist, Neurology/Rheumatology - Atlantic provinces (NS, NB, PEI, NL)

The Sales Specialist will introduce, grow, and maintain the Teva Neurology business (70%), and other Teva products as required, in a defined geographic territory, by planning and conducting sales calls to appropriate Health Care Providers, other personnel and institutions responsible for the prescribing and delivery of innovative therapies to appropriate patients.

Responsibilities:

  • Execution of sales calls to select HCPs, and encourage the prescribing of the Teva CNS portfolio of products for appropriate patients.
  • Demonstrated comfort and success with remote / virtual selling, to compliment ‘face to face’ selling
  • Meet all annual sales objectives for promotable Teva products
  • Establish positive and productive relationships among assigned therapeutic networks within territory
  • Develop, coordinate and implement a strategic business plan for key Healthcare providers, including key institutions, clinics and large practices as noted above.
  • Conduct activity in full adherence to Teva compliance policy
  • Manage all sales-related administrative duties, including but not limited to call plan development, routing, expense reporting, territory promotional budgets and resources
  • Represent Teva at conferences, meetings and attend sales meetings as requested

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required, ideally in science or related field
  • 3 + years of successful pharmaceutical sales experience selling to Specialists and some General Practitioners (neurology/migraine space is preferred). Rheumatology experience is an asset
  • Accomplished proven track record with selling a biologic and navigating within the private reimbursement landscape.
  • Experience working with Patient Support Programs
  • Launch experience preferred
  • Must be willing to travel up to 50% of the time
