Tasks & Responsibilities

ü Support the Regulatory Affairs and Product Development group

o Scientific research

o Regulatory research

o Writing Standard Operating Procedures (SOP)

o Establish specifications

o Create new codes

ü Learn to navigate the different requirements of each commercial region

ü Submit or verify government applications

ü Work with Marketing to improve and ensure our social media complies with Regulatory Affairs requirements

ü Ensure label compliance according to Regulatory Affairs requirements

o Create in-house label printing requests

o Cost analysis

o Verification of labels against formulas and licenses

o Prepare text for labels

o Request and verify label changes in collaboration with graphic designers

o Communicate with various customers regarding label changes and requested requirements

o Submit labels to organic certification organizations for approval

o All other tasks related to packaging and labels

Skills & Competencies

ü Excellent oral and written communication skills in English and French

ü Proficiency in Microsoft Office (mainly Excel)

ü Must be organized, meticulous, able to concentrate and autonomous

ü Be a good team player

ü 1 to 2 years of experience in a similar role is preferable

ü Education or training in science would be an asset

ü Being able to read German and Spanish would be an asset

Education & Experience

ü DEC in Sciences

ü We offer on-site training

Work Schedule

Permanent full-time position

40 hours per week

Monday to Friday: 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
