As QC Assistant, the successful candidate will be responsible for assisting with the various tests and procedures required to accurately grade the quality and condition of grain samples for growers, traders and P&H’s various facilities. This position will assist the Quality Control Manager and Lab Technicians with additional duties as assigned.

The Contract Full-time QC Assistant availability requirement from August - December 2022, Monday to Friday mornings or evenings with occasional overtime or weekend hours.

Your day-to-day activities will include:

• Preparing various samples for analysis and testing;
• Reporting/logging detailed results of tests and samples;
• Performing maintenance checks on equipment and log maintenance activity.

The successful candidate should enter the position with the following qualifications:

• Accuracy and attention to detail;
• Ability to identify and solve quality issues;
• Flexible work schedule;
• Effective communicator both written and verbal;
• Knowledge and basic comprehension of lab terminology is an asset;
