About The Role

We are looking for a Project Manager - Claims Index to join our growing team!

As a Project Manager - Claims Index, your mandate will be focused on oversight of the knowledge management system used by our National Claims team. You will play an essential role by maintaining this system tool while advising a variety of stakeholders and proposing on-going optimizations to deliver best-in-class user experiences with impactful results. You will provide technical expertise and ensure efficient work processes are in place that support our employees to do their job successfully.

Workplace: This opportunity can be based at any of our Intact locations across Canada.

What You’ll Do Here
  • Partner across lines of business to analyze the design of Index and strategically develop processes, solutions, and practices that allow information within the Claims Index tool to be more accessible and user friendly.
  • Gather feedback from users to determine challenges and execute change.
  • Build and implement project plans to deliver on short and long term strategic goals.
  • Oversight of ongoing maintenance of the Index tool
  • Supervision over and coordination of project resources (please be advised there are no direct reports for this role)
  • Help streamline process based on feedback from the business.
  • Escalate and work to resolve issues that serve as roadblocks and/or place business objectives at risk.
Qualifications

What you bring to the table:
  • 2 years project management experience
  • A proven track record in successfully leading and managing cross-functional projects and programs
  • Strong communication skills in English. Ability to communicate in French would be an asset.
  • Comfortable working in a dynamic and constantly evolving environment
  • Experience and understanding of cloud-based knowledge management systems
  • Effective project management skills and experience including implementation and post-implementation monitoring.
  • Ability to identify and mitigate system risks
  • Results-oriented
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Demonstrated sense of strategic thinking, planning and organization skills
  • Experience working with Salesforce an asset

  • Improve Organization and Searchability – create a Google-like experience
  • Utilizing Index as the prominent source of information for our Claims teams.
  • Integrate a section with explanatory documents that can be shared with Brokers and Customers
  • Consistent monitoring to ensure contents of Index remains current, accurate, and relevant
