Windsor & Strathroy, Ontario are two of our sites located in Canada offering softgel development and manufacturing capabilities for the Pharmaceutical and Consumer Health industries. We have a broad range of integrated formulation, manufacturing, analytical and packaging services to offer full service turnkey solutions. The location of this position is dependent on the qualified candidate’s location as our two sites are concomitant.

The Project Coordinator is responsible for coordinating projects of varying size and complexity by directing, organizing, and controlling project activities while meeting the strategic needs of the organization according to deadlines and within resource budgets. The Project Coordinator will look to acquire resources and coordinate the efforts of team members and third-party contractors or consultants in order to deliver projects and product launches according to plan.

The Role

• Assist the Project Manager in the successful management of projects and product portfolios;
• Track the progress of detailed project plans, schedules and associated communications documents;
• Effectively communicate project expectations and status to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear manner;
• Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential crises, and devise contingency plans;
• Develop and strengthen customer relationships through demonstration of successful launches and professional interactions;
• Build, develop, and grow business relationships vital to the success of the project.
• Participate in project post-mortems and create a recommendations report in order to identify successful and unsuccessful project elements and implement learning’s on subsequent projects
• Communicate ideas for improving company processes with a positive and constructive attitude and for developing this attitude in others.

The Candidate

• Bachelor’s Degree in Science (Life/Applied), Business (Marketing) or related field;
• Any level of project development/management experience;
• Experience working in a pharmaceutical, manufacturing and/or GMP facility a plus;
• Certificate in Project Management or Project Management Professional Designation is an asset;
• Exceptional organizational skills and written/verbal communication skills.
