Reporting to the Project Manager, the Project Coordinator is responsible for supporting project delivery through the complete project lifecycle including completing project documentation, coordinating resources and vendors, monitoring and completing project status reporting, tracking budget, assisting with coordination of the team, and achieving the projected goals. The incumbent will also be responsible for coordinating one or more Digital Innovation Program (DIP) committee(s).

You would…

  • Support the overall project delivery and oversee quality control throughout the lifecycle while adhering to the Project Management principles and practices.
  • Ensure assigned project deliverables are completed on time, within scope and meet required quality standards.
  • Assist in coordination and development of project management plans and strategies, monitor project progress, and adjust as necessary to ensure project success.
  • Act as a coordinator on the Digital Innovation Program (DIP) committee(s). Ensure the quality and timely delivery of meeting minutes, status updates, documenting and tracking action items from meetings, meeting materials, and other information.
  • Support and coordinate the project team by providing assistance and guidance to ensure that team members are working collaboratively and effectively to achieve project goals.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation, including project plans, status reports, meeting minutes, action logs, and other project-related documents. Organize and facilitate weekly status meetings. Responsible for regularly reporting project status, issues, and risks to key stakeholders and the Executive Leadership Team.
  • Assist in monitoring and tracking project budgets against estimates, ensuring that project expenses are controlled and within approved budgets and providing stakeholders with revised projections as necessary.
  • Contribute to the development of project management processes and procedures, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing solutions to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the project management function.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, team members, and vendors to facilitate open and effective communication and collaboration throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Assist with delivering process improvements to improve our procedures, creating better efficiency and improved quality. Assist with creating metrics and project dashboards and reporting.
  • Volunteers and supports community initiatives and projects. Represents the Credit Union at events and other Credit Union system conferences and meetings.
  • Completes other duties as assigned.

You have…

  • Completed a Bachelors degree in Business, Commerce, or a related field.
  • 1-3 years of related experience, preferably in the financial industry.
  • Practical knowledge of project management principles, tools, and techniques to meet project requirements.
  • Demonstrated advanced computer skills using the Microsoft Suite of tools, including MS Project, Power BI, Visio, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
