TPump Production and Quality Engineer

Rotech pumps & Systems Inc. – Mississauga, ON

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Work with inside sales team to create planning and workflow of work orders based on priority
• Hold production meetings to execute open orders, and plan inventory accordingly
• Responsible of co-ordinating accurate inventory counts and cycles, and ensuring parts are in order as needed
• Work with production team to prioritize orders, and creating production targets and achieving them
• Creating and setting QC and production SOPs and standards and ensuring team adheres to them
• Troubleshoots issues during production
• Responsible for inventory control and planning

Qualifications/Requirements:

• 3-5 Years in a technical background working in pumps, manufacturing, production, assembly, machining
• Engineering Bachelor’s Degree
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical journals
• Knowledge of MS Word processing software;
• MS Excel spreadsheet software contact management systems.
• Ability to read, analyze and work with blueprint drawings
• Experience working with machining, and fundamentals of assembly
• Experience working with centrifugal pumps, and have technical knowledge of parts
