About The Role

Your role:

You will take a leading role in developing digital products that are part of our portfolio for all our Canadian distributors. Whether it’s policy servicing, customers acquisitions or digital e-marketing, you will bring to life our strategy and vision to offer our distributors the best in-class digital tools to help improve customer experience and distributors efficiency.

Working with several other product owner, you will take part in the agile “scrum” development of our products with internal and external partners engineering teams ensure that you create value for our customers and distributors along the way.

This role reports to the Manager, Product Management

Here are a few ways you will make a difference:
  • Communicates with stakeholders to define the product vision and strategy ensuring their interests are included in the release. Follows-up with stakeholders on a need basis. Inspires the team to deliver best-in-class products.
  • Responsible for the business aspects of the project including ensuring the right product is being built in the right order and release is developed by the deadlines.
  • Leads, plans, tracks and is accountable for all phases of the product life cycle from the beginning of the project to the introduction into the marketplace. Responsible for product evolution.
  • Monitors performance and recommends schedule changes or resource additions. Ensures business objectives and targets are met through data analytics, and feedback. Determines products KPIs and objectives.
  • May be responsible for feasibility studies, field trials management, identifying product gaps, defining product requirements, and engaging with customers to understand market needs and trends.


Workplace: Saint Hyacinthe (2450 rue Girouard Ouest), Montreal (2020 Blvd Robert-Bourassa), or Toronto (700 University)

Qualifications

What you bring to the table:
  • Domain expertise with brokerage technology is a strong asset but not essential
  • College or bachelor’s degree, coupled with working experience
  • Between 2 and 5 years of experience
  • A leader, able to foster a positive working environment
  • Highly organized
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Autonomous and creative
  • Fast learner
  • Able to work in a team and share your ideas
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel (advanced level)
  • English skills are essentials (Verbal & Written) and bilingualism is a strong asset
