SUMMARY OF PURPOSE/MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES

Manufacturing 4.0 is the next industrial revolution where big data and automation help drive efficiencies and enable best in class decision making. Sanofi Pasteur has identified as a key priority for the business the roll out of digital manufacturing 4.0 initiatives across all sites. As a result, a new digital team will be built to drive this transformative effort and cultural change for our vaccine site in Toronto.

The Process/Data analyst will support the Digital Booster Leaders in the roll-out of digital products and performance initiatives related to manufacturing 4.0 projects.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Supports respective Digital Booster Leaders in roll-out of digital products and performance initiatives.

  • Develops process automation solutions (digitizing manual data entry tasks), data modelling and data visualization.

  • Works with key stakeholders to understand business requirements, identify improvement opportunities, and find/develop digital solutions to solve business problems.

  • Develops digital solutions to automate business processes and enable analysis of data for generating business insights.

  • Designs and builds data models, ETL pipelines, and data visualization dashboards as part of digital solutions.

  • Manages improvement opportunities through identification, development, and implementation stages.

  • Conducts data analysis, data visualization to exploit full potential for improvement coming from digital product and data gathered and structured.

  • Becomes proficient on IA data environment, platforms and tooling.

  • Develop relevant KPI’s and baseline data, implement, track and analyze Key operational metrics and progress of digital tool deployments.

  • Ensures outcomes of Digital Products are measured and analyzed and reported on a regular basis.

  • Potential impact on production with a value of 200 million dollars per year.

  • Statistical dimensions:Assisting Booster leaders overseeing several multi-million dollar digital delivery projects.

  • Health & Safety dimensions:Expected to ensure safety is a priority with all project teams.

REQUIREMENTS

Education/Certifications:

  • Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in science/engineering, business or a related field.

Experience:

  • 1 -3 years of similar experience.

Key technical competencies and soft skills:

  • Experience with basic data analysis & reporting.

  • Experience managing scorecards in industrial activities.

  • Proficient in Advanced Excel (Power Query, Pivot Tables), PowerPoint, Visio.

  • Experience in SharePoint, MS access, Minitab, Power BI, Power Automate, Power Apps, Tableau, Python, SQL.

  • Experience and awareness of lean tools and methodologies – eg process mapping, DMAIC, problem solving tools, etc.

  • Awareness of digital tools and technologies.

  • Ability to balance priorities and resources.

  • Creative and active problem solver who is approachable, collaborative, outgoing and diplomatic.
