We’re hiring a PC&L Scheduler for our FCM Brampton facility located in Ontario, Canada.

Essential responsibilities and duties

The role of the PC&L/Material Scheduler is to co-ordinate the receipt of customer releases, shipping schedules and production requirements to provide accurate representation of customer demand, to continually improve the effectiveness of the material management systems and procedures.

The main activities of the role are to:

• Manage the customer releases (weekly & daily)
• Collect and analyse customer releases
• Manage the Service System requirements for all programs
• Ensure customer supplied packaging is at levels sufficient to support production
• Work with customers to ensure all transportation (product shipments) is organized and communicated both internally and externally
• All other duties as assigned by the PC & L Manager

Specific Responsibilities:

• Maintain, monitor and communicate finished goods inventory levels to meet FES indicators
• Assist with leadership of the hourly workforce as it pertains to shipping. Ensuring all safety, good housekeeping practices are followed
• Ensure customer demand is entered into the SAP system in order to generate MRP (Materials Requirements Planning), assisting the Material Planners to achieve BOP (Bought Out Part) inventory levels within set target
• Produce daily/weekly shipping schedule and PDP weekly

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have/be:

• High energy level, initiative to identify and resolve issues before becoming problems
• Excellent organizational skills, ability to judge multiple priorities
• Strong analytical, problem solving and computer skills
• Strong written and verbal communication
• Ability to independently prepare and present information and data used for decision making
• Post secondary education in a related discipline; with at least 3 – 5 years related experience
• Prior supervisory experience would be an asset
• Commitment to the highest ethical standards and willingness to adhere to Faurecia’s Code of Ethics and Code of Management
