Essential Coil Well Service, a division of Essential Energy Services, is currently looking for a Parts Technician for our Grande Prairie location.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Maintain parts inventory for various field equipment
• Maintain communications with equipment dealers and vendors

• Ship, receive, and order parts as required
• Manage and process inventory transactions
• Process paperwork in a timely manner
• Regular hours will be Monday – Friday, 8:00 – 4:30 p.m.
• Overtime as needed
• Required to work an on-call rotation schedule (which includes weekends)

Qualifications:

• Valid Class 5 license with a clean abstract is required
• Provincial Journeyperson Parts Technician certification from a recognized post-secondary institution is an asset but not required.
• 5+ years of experience in a similar position
• Logistics (fleet management) experience is an asset
• Strong working knowledge of mechanical, electronic and hydraulic components
• Experience in the field is an asset
• Strong computer skills
• Forklift training an asset
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet project deadlines
• Must be able to multi-task and pay attention to detail
• Heavy lifting is required
• Pre-employment physical assessment is required
