Parts Sales Specialist

Join our team of Powersports professionals and help us get Manitoba enjoying the great outdoors! We offer amazing products for getting the most out of all four seasons, including boats, quads, Sea-doos and Ski-doos. Your mission is to make sure that our customers have all the right accessories, clothing and parts that they need to make every season the best!

Responsibilities:

• Create an atmosphere where everyone feels welcome and looked after
• Connect with customers at the parts counter - understand what they need, help locate what they are looking for, provide helpful advice in a friendly atmosphere
• Help the do-it-yourselfers by suggesting parts typically related to the particular repair
• Handle in-coming parts calls on all product lines
• Provide written quotes to customers in a timely fashion and follow up on quotes
• Reach out to loyal customers to offer advance access to great parts sales
• Follow up on special orders and advise customers promptly when they are received
• Ensure job accuracy when billing parts to work orders.
• Be open to continuous learning offered by the company to stay current on new products and new models
• Be part of the crew for special customer events, community events and big promotions

Required Skills

• Excellent customer service and customer relationship management skills
• Cheerful disposition, positive “can do” attitude, good public presentation
• Above average verbal communication
• Excellent follow up skills
• Familiarity with a computerized inventory and ordering system is an asset
• Good general computer knowledge
• Basic mechanical aptitude
• Willingness to learn about new things all the time

Required Experience

12+ months experience in busy parts role or related field

12+ Experience working with customers in a retail or service role

Completed grade 12 or equivalent
