About UsCleantech Service Group is based in Richmond and provides cleaning and maintenance services to commercial establishments and strata buildings throughout the Lower Mainland. In business since 1996, Cleantech is committed to providing superior, sustainable services to our customers and has seen rapid and continuous growth.We are currently looking for a Part-time Cleaner at our site in Courtenay BC that will work 2 days per week and is willing to come in and work when cleaners are on vacation, take sick days or during a busy period.The ideal candidate must have at least 1 year of experience in cleaning, high level of reliability and trust, and able to work independently. Training will be provided for both shifts.This position is PAID HOURLY.Key Duties & Responsibilities

• Exterior litter pick up, spot clean, empty, and replace plastic in waste recyclable bin
• Clean entrance doors from smudges and other debris
• Dust and wipe up to 10 feet
• Wipe and disinfect high touch points such as door handles and railings
• Daily floor care using mops and floor cleaner
• Disinfecting countertops and removing any debris from furniture
• Maintain washrooms, janitors closet and small offices (dusting, clearing bins, replacing toiletries)

Qualifications & Requirements

• Cleaning experience is a requirement
• Must be able to lift at least 35lbs
• Excellent time management skills
• Effective verbal and written communication in English
• Must be proactive and be able to work independently with minimal supervision and in a team environment
• Ability to deal with customers in a positive, courteous and respectful manner
• Candidate must subject to a background screening
