As a Paralegal, you will be responsible for utilizing your previous legal experience, organizational skills and creative-thinking to support the business while managing critical confidential and time-sensitive legal matters. Your impressive communication style and sound judgement, will be the legal presence of Semios and responsible for innovating the processes thereby increasing efficiency and productivity.

What you will do:

• Work alongside the legal and executive team to support as Semios continue to expand locally as well as internationally.
• Review and interpret confidential contracts, including software terms, non-disclosure agreements and other company and legal documents as required.
• Maintain ownership of creating, drafting, and completing policies and ancillary documents.
• Develop and maintain a legal document database and electronic resources, agreement tracking.
• Address and complete internal and external legal requests.
• Manage corporate filings and filing with requisite authorities.
• Organize, coordinate and prepare calendar invitations and meetings related to internal legal matters.

Requirements

We want you to succeed, so you will need:

• Degree, Diploma, or Certification in Legal Administration, Paralegal program, a related program or similar overseas qualifications.
• Previous professional experience in a legal role in an in-house environment or experience working in a legal environment.
• Ability to gather and understand information from multiple sources and accurately relay to appropriate parties.
• Experience in managing complex and confidential files as well as writing and editing confidential documents and other correspondence.
• Strong document management, attention to detail and proofreading skills.
• Ability to work independent as well as part of a team effectively while working under pressure to meet multiple deadlines.
• Ability to read and understand contractual terms with strong experience in reviewing and drafting documents.

Nice to have:

• Legal experience in agriculture technology or similar type of organization
• International legal experience
