WhiteWateris seeking a Packaging and Shipping Coordinatorto join our manufacturing team at our Annacis Island plant! Reporting directly to the Global Shipping Supervisor, this position is responsible to package, process, and ship orders in a timely fashion, focusing on accuracy, completeness, and quality.

This role requires an energetic personality with a high attention to detail, strong work ethic, continuous improvement, and can-do attitude. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Able to manage and prioritize multiple tasks, meet tight deadlines in a high paced environment while maintaining calm spirit under pressure.

YOUR ROLE:

• Sort, package and consolidate finished goods, inventory, and external orders.
• Transport raw materials, finished goods and equipment throughout the plant manually or using lifting equipment.
• Handle packaging and labeling of DG/Hazmat including documentation preparation.
• Ensure orders are packaged and ready to ship on time to meet shipping schedules.
• Responsible for the accuracy, completeness, and quality of packaging.
• Ensure goods are packaged and labeled according to the company’s standards and processes.
• Check and weigh materials and products.
• Provide measurements and weights of packaged goods.
• Confirm required type and number of full load units (trucks, containers).
• Generate packing list for all shipments.
• Handle paperwork and shipping arrangements for parcel shipping (FedEx, DHL, other).
• Post all required transactions in the ERP system.
• Assist the Global Shipping Supervisor in the preparation of the weekly load plan schedule and forecast.
• Usage of Non-Compliance Reporting (NCR) / Opportunity for Improvement (OFI) procedures.
• 5S cleaning, organizing, sustaining Shipping Department.
• When necessary, take on other tasks to ensure shipping deadlines are met.
• Ensure proper maintenance of equipment and effective use of consumables.
• Support and execute best practices in accordance with WhiteWater objectives and goals.

• Respect for people with communication, consideration, and collaboration.
• Responsible for safety, ensure best practices are followed.

• Work overtime when required.

YOU BRING:

• Has previous experience for a Global Manufacturing Company.
• Forklift experience is required.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs. repeatedly and on a daily basis.
• Working knowledge of FedEx or DHL software is an asset.
• Familiarity with requirements for international shipping and best practices: customs, packaging & marking.

• Dangerous Goods Certification is not a must however willingness to obtain certification is necessary for the role.
• Exposure to Lean and 5S manufacturing is an asset.
• Minimum of High School Education.
• Experience with hand and power tools is required.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.

• Proficient with Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Word, Excel).

• Previous experience with ERP system would be an asset.

• Strong interpersonal, communication and organizational skills required.

• Ability to demonstrate attention to detail, thoroughness, and accuracy.
