POSITION SUMMARY
As a key member of the organization, you will be responsible for planning, developing, and managing the talent sourcing and talent acquisition activities to support the business unit’s recruitment team and function. Focus recruitment strategies to meet key programs and commitments including Affirmative Action Plans (AAP), Community Benefits Framework (CBF), and Employment Plans ensuring integration with the Workforce Development team in strategies to create a diverse and inclusive workplace.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

  • Develop and deliver an integrated sustainable talent acquisition strategy including hiring plans and linkage to the recruitment functions.
  • Lead and identify sourcing methods for all hiring in partnership with key HR stakeholders.
  • Perform analysis of hiring needs and provide employee hiring forecasts in conjunction with operations and ensure alignment between key stakeholders including operations, HR business partners and external stakeholders.
  • Partner with and educate leadership on the talent acquisition and recruitment landscape and translate business needs acquiring talent in a timely and cost-effective manner.
  • Identify, develop and lead new programs and processes to enhance, promote and support diversity and inclusion strategies.
  • Lead the employment brand and employee value proposition for the attraction of talent for NFI Group and all subsidiaries in North America, including internal and external job postings/advertising, career pages, and all other associated talent acquisition methods and marketing tools.
  • Assess and identify bottlenecks in the end-to end-recruitment process and develop actions to address with HR partners and recruiters.
  • Coach and empower leadership to be actively part of the recruitment and delivery of the employment brand.
  • Determine, create and implement HR and recruitment KPI’s that support the talent acquisition and recruitment functions.
  • Manage, track and report on all talent acquisition and recruitment requirements to meet daily operational needs along with key programs and plans.
  • Lead in partnership with the Workforce Development Team activates around training, development and sourcing ideas to engage target communities in partnership with HR teams.

WHAT YOU NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL:
  • Post-secondary education in Human Resources or equivalent experience
  • Three to five years of direct relevant experience in leading a talent acquisition team
  • Superior presentation and facilitation skills along with strong interpersonal and leadership skills
  • Strong emotional intelligence, with ability to connect and communicate with people of varying backgrounds, job positions, cultures, and communicative preferences.
  • Motivated self-starter with capabilities to work within a fast-paced customer service oriented environment
  • Demonstrated time management and organizational skills
