• This is an excellent opportunity to get involved with cutting edge technology
• Mechanical Designer - Design Services* Key Job Elements:
• Create solid models, layouts and associative assembly and detail drawings from sketches, notes or direction from tenured designers
• Design subsystems with minimal supervision utilizing NX CAD software integrated to the Teamcenter database
• Perform design calculations and trade-off studies as required
• Incorporate engineering change requests into existing Technical Data Package
• Perform dynamic motion and interference analyses Required Qualifications:
• University degree or college diploma in Electrical or Mechanical field
• Minimum 2+ years of experience with NX CAD or Solidworks software in modeling, drafting and assemblies
• Strong knowledge of the application and interpretation of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) from piece parts to assemblies
• Demonstrated strength in MS Office applications
• Ability to travel 5% Due to the nature of the position, successful applicants must meet all applicable security requirements of the Canadian Controlled Goods Program, including, but not limited to, the ability to obtain and maintain a Canadian government security clearance to secret level.
