Whitecap Scientific Corporation is a computer vision software company that helps industrial professionals solve complex problems underwater. Our client list includes some of the world’s largest energy companies in Europe, South America, and the Middle East. We’re expanding our team and we’re looking for an innovative marketing leader to help accelerate our growth on a global scale.

As Whitecap Scientific’s Marketing Lead you’ll collaborate with our leadership team to refine and execute our business growth strategy. You’ll own the company’s marketing strategy and functions, including developing and refining market insights, building brand awareness, and growing our marketing funnel. And even though you have a gift for big-picture thinking, you’ll still enjoy digging in and executing at a tactical level.

Responsibilities:

• Market and Customer Insight - Lead our marketing efforts to help define and establish strong market positioning and our market strategy and goals. Develop positioning strategy, and conduct market research. Share key insights with leadership, product, and sales teams.

In this role, you will:

• Be accountable for all aspects of marketing and communications to our customers and partners around the globe, with a key role in ensuring the brand, stakeholder, and budget objectives are met.
• Create and coordinate corporate communications.
• Help design, develop, and distribute digital and print marketing creative, including digital media, press releases, ads, etc.
• Be accountable for content management including the development of relevant, meaningful content.
• Establish content strategy and select web standards.
• Join sales and executive team in direct conversations with customers.
• Help design and create social media plans, oversee coordination and execution of social media campaigns, and ensure alignment with overall marketing campaign and established strategy.
• Plan and oversee posting of valuable, shareable content regularly.
• Establish, analyze and report performance metrics and take corrective action as needed.

Skill and Qualifications:

• Post-secondary education in marketing, communications, and/or public relations.
• At least 5 years’ experience in a similar leadership role in marketing and communications.
• Knowledge of various marketing management platforms, social media platforms, and video editing and graphic design software.
• Strong oral, writing, editing, proof reading and presentation skills, along with an ability to collaborate with diverse team members, the public, and customers to deliver high quality support.
• Excellent writing skills.
• Fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
