We are currently seeking an individual with a solid backgroundin mechanical & electrical maintenance to join our Day Shift team.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Perform troubleshooting and repairs to mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems with minimal supervision
  • Adjust equipment and repair or replace defective parts, components or systems
  • Participate in Preventative Maintenance program
  • Perform facility maintenance as required
  • Clean, lubricate and perform other routine maintenance work on equipment
  • Conduct safety checks on company equipment
  • Comply with all safety regulations and policies
  • Interpret technical manuals and drawings

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum 3 years of Mechanical Maintenance work experience
  • Experience with repairing and maintaining robotic equipment is an asset
  • Basic electrical knowledge.
  • PLC knowledge would be an asset
  • Excellent interpersonal and English communication skills
  • Strong sense of urgency with proven record of following through to meet deadlines
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to organize and plan daily tasks with minimal supervision
  • Ability to work in a team-based environment

HOURS:

  • Day Shift: Monday - Friday; 7:00am - 3:30pm (40 hrs/week)

HERD offers a competitive Benefits Package as well as a starting wage of $25/hour + (depending on experience).
