Labourer with Mechanical Ability

Janssen Equipment Repair is currently looking for a labourer with mechanical experience and ability.

Duties:

Maintenance, small engine rebuild/repairs and Inspection of engines and generators.

Accurate recording of temperatures and fuel levels of all reefer and heater units.

Securing and Routing of Power cables on rail equipment.

Other tasks as required.

Requirements:

Must be punctual and reliable.

Must have leadership qualities.

Must pay excellent attention to detail.

Must have a valid Class 5 drivers license.

Must be able to pass a criminal record check.

Must be 18 or older.

Must be willing to work outside in all weather conditions.

Must have basic computer skills.

Must have a cellphone.

Experience working in a fast paced environment is an asset.

Railway experience or experience in another safety critical industry is an asset.

Previous CROR rules qualification would be an asset but is not required.

Experience operating a forklift would be an asset.
