Reporting to the Director of Sale and Marketing, acting as ‘Director of First Impressions” for Porchlights Communities, the role of Junior or Intermediate Leasing Consultant is to connect with the prospects to match prospective residents to our All-Inclusive Adult Living Community, The Melody.

We are seeking an engaging Junior Sales and Leasing professionals who is self motivated and has a natural talent to connect with prospective residents, matching them with the right options to meet their individual needs and lifestyles. Our Jr. Leasing Consultant assists in converting leads into applications with the goal to achieve maximum occupancy of the Community through meeting with potential residents, showing suites and amenities and following up with prospects.

This is a part time role with expected hours between 24 to 30 per week, with potential to move into full time in 6 months time.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Conducting tours (both in-person and virtual) of the community, available suites, common and amenity areas to generate further prospective interest through highlighting the benefits of choosing The Melody.
  • Consistent and timely follow up on all leads and provide next level customer service to convert leads to applicants.
  • Follow up with potential future residents including recent showings and persons on waiting lists.
  • Having conversations with prospective residents at first point of contact to gather information to determine their needs and assist leasing consultants in promoting available options that fit the prospects lifestyle.
  • Responding to all potential resident inquiries to schedule tours and answer questions from prospective residents by telephone, email, and walk-ins.
  • Scheduling work week to meet goals efficiently and effectively, which may include performing activities on evenings and weekends.
  • Complete all leasing administration tasks including updating leasing workflow for each prospect, processing applications, completing lease documents, and maintaining commission reports.
  • Correctly complete all lease applications, assist with application verification, and notify prospective resident of results in a timely manner.
  • Providing exceptional customer service and professionalism though listening and understanding questions and concerns and responding with accurate information.
  • Ensure show readiness of suites and presentation of the Community.
  • Being knowledgeable about the community, amenity spaces, neighbourhood etc. to answer common questions.
  • In conjunction with the Director of Sales & Marketing and other leasing team members, participate in the development and execution of the leasing strategy for Porchlight Communities.

What We Need

  • 2+ years Sales and/or Leasing experience or other direct customer experience related industry. Experience in multi-residential Leasing a major asset.
  • Exposure to leasing activities within an adult and senior living multi-family community an asset.
  • Experience using CRM (Customer Relations Management) software such as Lasso and/or HubSpot asset.
  • Ability to provide a clear criminal record & venerable persons check.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office applications, such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Ability and willingness to work evenings and weekends.
