About The Role

Summary of responsibilities:

• Be responsible for the consistency, structuring and configuration of Jira and Confluence tools mainly.
• Ensure that best practices are observed in the use and configuration of our tools that support software engineering agile processes.
• Work closely with software engineering teams to support and coach them in the process for using Jira and Confluence and the development lifecycle platforms.
• Collaborate in the monitoring of the potential evolution of our products.
• Continuously improve the service offering for our Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence, Jira Service Desk and others).
• Help formulate tool and platform recommendations for the company.
• Collaborate in the implementation of our evolution targets in line with the Agile Centre of Expertise.
  

Qualifications

What you bring to the table:

• Undergraduate university degree in computer science or equivalent experience.
• 10 years of IT experience.
• Excellent advanced knowledge of the Atlassian Suite (Jira, Confluence and their respective extensions: ScriptRunner, TM4J, Refined, Actionnable Agile, Custom Charts, Easy Agile User Story MAPS).
• Experience with the Data Centre version of Jira.
• Experience integrating Atlassian products with other Cloud and/or On-Prem platforms.
• Familiar with advanced Jira workflow and screen configurations.
• Atlassian certification, an asset
• Knowledge of the administration of other software engineering tools, an asset (E.g.: MIRO, GitHub, Nexus, Jenkins etc.)
• Proficient with the Agile approach (Scrum, Kanban and SAFe).
• Demonstrate leadership.
• Work autonomously and excellent management of priorities.
• Be versatile and on the lookout for new technologies.
• Good communication skills.
• Team spirit, collaboration and quick learner.
• Initiative and ability to work under pressure.
• Must be bilingual (English and French).
