Paradigm Consulting Group is in an active growth phase and securing talented consultants is a critical component of our success. The desired candidate will be a dynamic and energetic individual will join lead a high performing team of professionals committed to helping our customers get the most from their investments in business processes and information technology.

The Recruitment Consultant will be a key individual in recruiting new consultants for our growing practice. While not required to be physically located in SK or MB, the successful candidate will bring a network of IT consultants in their connection list that they will be able to leverage for opportunities in Manitoba, Saskatchewan and Alberta.

The Recruitment Consultant’s skillset and responsibilities will include:

Relationships with IT consultants in Canada

  • Maintaining close relationships with the business development teams to successfully support the opportunity sales cycle
  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience in consultant sourcing techniques; applicant tracking systems, social media, the use of passive sourcing techniques and staffing agencies
  • The ability to review and assess candidates based on identified requirements
  • Experience in the development and maintenance of an efficient shortlist of candidates with the use of pre-screening interviews
  • The ability to utilize multiple interview techniques & formats such as formalinformal, telephone, virtual, group and technical
  • Leverage in house subject management experts in multiple competencies to identify and validate high quality candidates
  • Conduct reference checks while acting as an ambassador of Paradigm
  • Ensure that successful candidates are introduced to the sales cycle
  • The confidence to recommend and implement improvements to the recruiting processes
  • The ability to identify new channels for Paradigm recruitment

The following are mandatory requirements:

  • A minimum 4 years’ demonstrated experience in recruiting talented individuals with a MANDATORY preference for candidates with experience in professional services and information technology background
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, writing skills and organizational skills.
  • The ability to work independently
  • Provides regular updates to stakeholders on the status of requisitions
  • Monitor the current recruitment process while identifying opportunities for improvement
  • Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems
  • The following are also considered strong assets: Certifications in recruiting, staffing or human resources.
  • Existing personal relationships andor business or professional association memberships related to the professional services/information technology field that would support recruiting activities.
  • Formal educational Certificate, Diploma or Degree from an educational facility with a major in human resources, business or information technology.
