Accountant specific skills:Prepare income tax returns from accounting records.

Area of specialization:Forms and records, correspondence, reports, invoices and financial statements.

Business equipment and computer applications:Word processing software, accounting software, Simply Accounting, MS Word, MS Excel, MS Windows, MS Outlook.

Operating systems and software:Sage Accounting Software.

Specific skills:

• Preparation of the following: Ledgers, journal entries, trial balances, payroll, income tax, financial statements and reports, and client invoices
• Assess fixed assets and depreciation.
• Clerical duties such as maintaining filing record systems.
• General office duties such as customer service (addressing client complaints or concerns), receiving and forwarding telephone or electronic inquiries, process incoming and outgoing mail manually or electronically, photocopy and collate documents for distribution, mailing and filing, label, file and retrieve documents, and basic bookkeeping tasks.
• Sort, process and verify applications, receipts and other documents.

Job Types: Full-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 4 months

Salary: $16.00-$22.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday

Customers are required to wear masks in office, at all times.

Experience:

• accounting office: 1 year (preferred)
