Title Health Economist

Department Market Access & Pricing Chapter

Location Mississauga Campus

As a Health Economist in the Market Access & Pricing Chapter will be responsible for providing high-level expertise into the design, methods and conduct of economic evaluations, budget impact analysis, and provincial listing analyses for the purposes of optimizing market access.


What you will do

  • Demonstrates the value of Roche products / portfolio and optimizes reimbursement by leading the health economic strategies and plans

  • Works with the local and global access teams to create/adapt heath economic analysis,, , budget impact analyses, and provincial listing agreements to support optimal public and private listings.

  • Determines the appropriate evidence requirements and methodologies required to support the value assessments throughout the lifecycle of Roche products in the public and private markets

  • Monitors and asses the developments of public and private market value assessments

  • Contributes to team-based value dossiers or presentations to provincial and and national formularies, third party payers, and other stakeholders as required

  • Develops and supports any health economic research, publications or policy projects (e.g. research into new health economic methodologies) with local and/or global networks

  • As an expert and coach, you will build health economic skills and capabilities across the access team and local / global network

  • Effectively collaborates with Access Chapter / Division, Squads, Global Access, networks, external stakeholders


What Capabilities & Skills you bring to this role?

  • Master’s Degree

  • Minimum working experience for 3-5 years with practice in health economics

  • Strong analytical experience, written and verbal communication, teamwork, leadership

  • Is an expert in local (i.e. CADTH and INESSS) and global economic guidelines, methods, trends, and leads economic guideline related consultation
