RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Skilled operation of all Haul Trucks
  • Conduct pre-shift/post-shift walk-around safety inspections
  • Actively participate in daily toolbox meeting and complete daily FLRA card
  • Log and report any maintenance concerns with the equipment
  • Complete production reporting and other documentation as required
  • Communicate effectively using hand signal and eye contact method
  • Minimum two (2) years operating a (777/793 Haul Truck) or 40-ton articulated truck in an earth work site environment, mining/construction sites



QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Class 1, 3, or 5 Drivers License and clean Driver’s Abstract
  • Capable of working independently in a fast paced environment with good safety awareness
  • Experience with radio communications and protocols
  • Knowledge of working outdoors under extreme weather conditions
  • Knowledge of manual transmission considered an asset
Shift / Rotation: Rotations are 3 weeks on, 3 weeks off, Dayshift and Nightshift
Rate: Competitive hourly rate with overtime, comprehensive benefits, company
rewards program. Flights are also provided!
Work will be primarily outdoors in various weather conditions.
