Gray Line Westcoast Sightseeing works very closely with the Port of Vancouver welcoming hundreds of cruise ships to Vancouver yearly. As a Guest Services Specialist, you will be part of the Port Operations Team, working in the cruise ship terminal. You will be an information guide for cruise ship passengers while promoting and selling tours and attractions.

YOUR WORK WILL INCLUDE
  • Greeting cruise ship passengers at the Port of Vancouver cruise ship terminal
  • Offering information, directions and itinerary suggestions on things to do in Vancouver
  • Promoting and selling Gray Line Westcoast Sightseeing experiences – booking tours on-site through an iPad point of sales system
  • Providing meet and greet for charters and liaise for guest pick-up
  • Handle guest questions, concerns and complaints
  • Communication with the team, cruise terminal employees and Port Operations Supervisor
  • Assist on Luggage Storage program located in cruise ship terminal
  • Working on cruise ship days throughout the entire cruise season

  • Excellent English verbal communication skills – another bonus is a few different languages
  • Able to stand or walk for long periods of time
  • Professional personality and strong inter-personal skills
  • Prior customer service or administrative experience is an asset
  • Prior experience at a sightseeing company is a big bonus
  • Strong knowledge of Downtown Vancouver and surrounding areas
