“Pavandip Singh Gill” is in the urgent need of 12 Full-time General Farm worker for their farms based in British Columbia.

Education: None

Experience: None (Any previous related experience would be an asset)

Language: No format Language required

Wages: $15.20/hour

Hours of Work: 30 Hours per week

Benefits: Accommodation will be provided at $30/week and other benefits will be as per BC Employment Standards Act

Duties:

• Field work, Soil Preparation, plowing, pruning, planting, weeding, cultivating, harvesting, sorting, packing of the field crops .
• Examining produce for quality and prepare for market,
• Loading produce into trucks and trailers.
• To monitor irrigation & the soil moisture as per crop requirements.
• Using fertilizers, detecting disease and other problems in crops.
• Protecting crops from weeds & pests by taking appropriate actions like spraying Pesticides etc.
• Farm workers also helps in Operating & maintaining farm machinery & equipment.
• Informing farmers or farm manager of crop progress.

Work Conditions:

• Must be able to work in Outdoor Area.
• May required long hours standing, couching and Physical demanding
• Repetitive tasks
• Able to manage large work loads
