Manager, Financial Planning & Analysis Career Opportunity

The Dufresne Group is currently seeking a Manager, Financial Planning & Analysis for our Finance and Business Development Team within our Home Office located at 147 Commerce Drive in Winnipeg, MB.

As a Manager, Financial Planning & Analysis, you will be responsible for preparing, analyzing and communicating growth models for future acquisitions, assisting in preparation of Company budgets, business plans and financial evaluations. You will participate in the development and presentation of Management materials. You will perform analytical procedures on the Company’s operational performance of existing business units.

As a Manager, Financial Planning & Analysis, you will:
Be an integral part of historical trend analysis on financials and KPI’s in order to provide operators with insights on potential profitability areas, new store development, & new lines of business.

Assist with financial modeling, analysis and due diligence on corporate acquisitions and divestitures

Assist in preparation of investment recommendations for executive management

Evaluate business plans and assess strategic and financial merits of internal and external investment opportunities; evaluate new product line opportunities

Prepare documents for financial institutions, accounting firms and lawyers

Liaise with business operators on acquisition and divestiture operational matters

Analyze activities of operating results, primarily financial performance of business units to highlight any major events or deviations.

Prepare monthly financial analysis and operations reports for management.

Perform project analysis as required.

Serve as a reference for and maintain files of information frequently requested by management.

Manage multiple tasks within tight deadlines on a continual basis.

Provide guidance and task oversight to more junior company resources to assist in the development of their career skill sets and ensure their efficient utilization towards Company objectives

As a successful candidate you will have the following:
CPA designation with 5-7 years of proven operational experience

Strong interpersonal and communication skills to liaise with other departments

Highly adaptable and passionate about solving business problems - both from a finance and operational perspective.

High degree of accuracy and attention to detail

Demonstrated strong knowledge of accounting, corporate finance, and statistics. This includes proven analytical skills

Ability to travel to the USA without restrictions

Strong self-management and communication skills

Superior working knowledge of MS Office products and ability to learn in-house computer programs

Able to adapt presentations for all levels and work within a team environment

Criminal Record Check required.
