Aequus Pharmaceuticals Inc. (TSX-V: AQS) is a specialty pharmaceutical company with a focus on developing, advancing and promoting differentiated products. The Company has recently expanded its products available for sale and expects to further grow its product menu and business.

We are looking for a Controller holding a CPA designation (or equivalent) to grow with the Company over the coming years. The position will initially be responsible for day to day accounting & will support the HR function. The Controller will work closely with the sales analyst and operations team but will report to the CFO. You will assist with the preparation of quarterly financial statements prepared under IFRS, but you will primarily be involved with payroll, monthly profitability analysis and operations reporting. An accounting clerk will work with you to manage payables, receivables and expense reconciliations. This is a hands on role in an entrepreneurial environment that requires strong knowledge of accounting and reporting.

Ideally, the successful candidate will have excellent problem solving skills and at least 5 years relevant experience in the pharmaceutical industry as a senior level accountant or analyst.

The Candidate will be expected to be a high energy self-starter with the aptitude to understand general operations and the big picture. AQS is still a young company and we are looking for "can do" positive people who can help us be successful in 2022, a year we hope will be transformational in our back office and sales.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $75,000.00-$90,000.00 per year
