We are looking for a Financial Analyst - Individual Customer

Reporting to the Director, Individual Insurance Financial Reporting, this role is responsible for the financial reporting of the Individual Life Insurance (Life) line of business, including the maintenance of financial information, reporting models, and management reports, and the analysis of long-term trends.

What You Will Do
  • Monthly and quarterly financial reporting and earnings analysis, including the preparation of data for senior management
  • Monthly preparation and analysis of specific supplementary reports
  • Participation in the Individual Customer budget and forecasting processes
  • Design and implementation of improved management information to help Individual Customer achieve its business objectives
  • Maintenance and development of financial models and data sources with strong internal financial controls
  • Support of the implementation of IFRS 17
What You Will Bring
  • Degree/ diploma in an area such as Accounting/ Finance
  • Working towards a professional accounting designation
  • Strong financial background with past financial reporting experience
  • Commitment to excellence of processes – ability to identify opportunities and execute plans of action to improve efficiencies
  • Strong communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook
  • SAP knowledge and knowledge of Life insurance business will be an asset
