Responsibilities:

• Manage the SAGE 50 Accounting program
• Day to day task regarding the Financial operations
• Manage Invoice/Payables - pay bills
• Reconcile bank accounts and Credit card accounts
• Post all Deposits - CC and Cheques
• Download all revenue Reports (from online platforms), consolidate information & record monthly
• Manage the GL and provide Monthly Balance Sheets, Income Statements and Cash Flow
• Manage payroll for 40 full-time employees and up to 30 seasonal employees using the Rise platform
• Ensure timely reporting of monthly tax remittance, Annual T4 Filing, manage bi weekly payroll
• Assist Directors in scheduling and time tracking using the Rise platform
• HST Reports - quarterly
• EHT Report - annually
• Revenue Projections and Annual Budget
• Year end review - review General Ledger, provide file to accountant

Basic Qualifications:

• 3+ years in a finance or bookkeeping role
• A background in accounting and CPA are a plus
• Knowledge of SAGE Accounting required.
• Quickbooks Online and Rise Payroll considered an asset

Required Experience:

• Strong analytic, financial modeling and reporting skills
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple competing priorities simultaneously, meet deadlines and drive projects to completion
• Exceptional analytic skills and a demonstrated ability to build financial models for business forecasting, variance analysis, and problem solving
• Ability to synthesize complex business and financials in simple terms and connect financials to business story that translates to actionable items
• Ability to work with cross functional teams, dive deep into the details, and being able to communicate key metrics to management in a timely manner
• Strong attention to detail
• Leadership skills to influence other professionals in the team

Salary: $48,000
Start date: March 7, 2022 (flexible)
