Job Description

St. Joseph’s Hospital, located in Southeast Saskatchewan, is seeking a Family Medicine physician with enhanced training in Anesthesia. Scope of practice includes inpatient and outpatient care, emergency consults and specialist on-call coverage including deliveries.

Relocation Package

Strong and generous community incentive package with Return for Service. Assistance with settlement. Reimbursement of eligible relocation expenses up to $5000-$7500 depending on location.

Job Qualifications

The successful candidate must have:

• licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Saskatchewan
• acceptable enhanced training in Anesthesia (ie: 3rd year residency in Family Practice Anesthesia)
• valid drivers license
• ACLS certification
• successful SHA credentialing including but not limited to 3 acceptable references and an acceptable criminal record check with vulnerable sector search
• current Canadian Medical Protective Associationcoverage.
• current, valid legal entitlement to work in Canada. In accordance with Canadian Foreign Worker requirements, preference will be given to qualified Canadian Citizens and Permanent Residents of Canada.
