Key Responsibilities

As a member of our Whitehorse land quality and remediation team, you will join a dynamic and experienced team of environmental specialists, working together to achieve success. You will also:

  • Help develop and oversee the collection of information by junior scientists and hydrogeologists
  • Analyze and interpret environmental data and prepare contaminated site reports for submission to clients and regulators
  • Work with multidisciplinary teams to integrate findings and interpretations with various scientific, planning, and engineering disciplines
  • Help manage projects and ensure successful project delivery with respect to health & safety, scope, schedule, budget, QA/QC, and client satisfaction
  • Prepare proposals and contribute to the development and execution of service line, business sector, and client business development plans
  • Liaise and build relationships with clients and ensure excellent service delivery
  • Mentor junior staff and participate in internal and external training/mentorship opportunities

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in a similar consulting role in the environmental services industry
  • Broad knowledge of environmental site assessment and/or risk assessment and/or hydrogeology and/or site remediation
  • Working knowledge of territorial, local, and industry specific regulations and guidelines
  • Undergraduate or Master’s degree in engineering or geosciences preferred
  • Professional status or eligibility for professional status with a professional organization (P.Eng., P.Geo., P.Ag., E.I.T., G.I.T., A.Sc.T preferred)
  • Valid driver’s license and regular access to a reliable vehicle required for travel to job sites/clients, respective of current Covid-19 protocols
