A prime opportunity to join an industry leading energy engineering organization that is focused on operational efficiency and energy efficiency/management based on actionable intelligence from real-time data. Using best in class metering and monitoring solutions, the Energy Efficiency Engineer will play a key role in providing Engineering, Project and Technology Integration support to promote Renteknik’s mandate of reducing energy, maintenance and operational costs and GHG emissions in commercial, industrial and MASH buildings.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Undertake Projects related to operational efficiency and energy management (Commissioning/Recommissioning, Enhanced Audits, Energy Management Systems, Technology Assessment and Adoption, M&V, GHG projects)
• Conduct Site Visits for the purpose of quoting, scoping studies, energy audits, as applicable
• Participate in quoting process as required
• Develop Deployment Plans for real-time submetering and efficiency project implementation
• Perform technical analysis of buildings, Systems (heating, cooling, processes, on-site generation)
• Prepare and execute Measurement and Verification Plans to validate technical analysis
• Provide written technical Reports (external or internal)
• Supervise Junior members of Project Team
• Participate in Management meetings
• Participate in Utility Incentive programs: application submissions, LDC, Natural Gas or Government Report submissions, third party Project validation

Qualifications:

• Engineering Degree or Engineering Technology Diploma or Equivalent (Required)
• P.Eng/CET/EIT (Required)
• 10 years post graduate experience with minimum 5 years Energy Management and Efficiency experience (Required)
• Experience with Commissioning (Required)
• Experience with Commercial HVAC and Refrigeration Systems (Preferred)
• Experience with Electrical and Energy Management Systems (Asset)
• Experience with or knowledge of Energy Audits (Required)
• Experience with manufacturing systems, processes and equipment (Asset)
• Strong Excel and Microsoft Office knowledge (Required)
• Experience with 3D CAD software (Solidworks and/or AutoCAD) (Required)
• Experience with design software eg Visio (Asset)
• Experience with Energy Management software eg: PowerStudio, SCADA (Asset)
• Knowledge of communication protocols ie: Mbus, Modbus (Asset)
• Knowledge of building code and electrical code
• Strong interest working in a growing business with cutting edge technologies in Energy Efficiency and Renewable Technologies
• Positive attitude working in a constantly changing environment
• Ability and willingness to travel internationally
• CEM, CMVP, EA or equivalent (Asset)
• G or G 2 driver licence and vehicle required

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $80,000.00-$110,000.00 per year
