Job Description

Can you?
  • Coach and develop management teams and hourly associates to meet / exceed organizational and personal goals?
  • Ensure your work force is trained to meet the work demands of the distribution center?
  • Ensure that the administrative duties for the all operation associates at the DCs are completed on time and with accuracy? (KPIs, PFP, Recognition program, Vacations, health days, personal days etc.)
  • Be responsible for all aspects of performance management, staffing, training and development of their assigned workforce?
  • Coach and develop associates to meet organizational and personal goals?
  • Work closely with the Local Business Team(s) to improve cross departmental communication, achieve the region(s) business plans, solve problems, increase productivity, improve efficiency and build relationships?
  • Run reports, routes, take care of store transfers & manager building manifests?
  • Provide customer service and support to customers, sales and delivery teams by responding to store e-mails and incoming telephone calls?
  • Facilitate weekly/monthly meetings, KBP, AOS etc?
Qualifications

Do you have?
  • A college diploma in a related field? A university degree or postgraduate certificates are considered an asset.
  • 4 to 6 years of experience in a warehouse/delivery environment?
  • 2 to 4 years of experience in a supervisory/management role is preferred.
  • Knowledge and understanding of provincial transportation rules and policies (i.e. log books, trip inspections, checking them over making sure they are correct and up to date, etc.)
  • Experience in Resource Management, Associate Development, Fleet Management, Inventory Management, Health and Safety, Loss prevention/Asset Management and Route code/Delivery Capacity Maintenance?
  • Experience in the Omni-channel/e-commerce environment?
  • Experience in Container Management?
  • Excellent communication skills in both French and English? Bilingualism is a must!
Are you able to?
  • Effectively provide coaching, training, mentoring and performance management?
  • Provide leadership, coaching and ongoing progress improvement to all associates?
  • Be a leader and motivate workers through greater teaching methods and demonstration?
  • Liaise and maintain relations with external vendors, clients, customers, etc. in a respectful way at all times?
