Disability Support Worker

Support worker required on Friday 9:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m.to assist an active individual with a developmental disability on the autism spectrum, in person’s own NW home, and in the community. As well, various day shifts may be available throughout the week, when another staff is unavailable, or on vacation. Must have a reliable vehicle, valid driver’s license, be a non-smoker, and be willing to obtain a police check. Must be willing to provide transportation, if needed, in the community to shop or to a recreational activity or outing. Maintaining a clean home environment is required. Please note that the individual is gluten-free and dairy-free. Experience working with disability sector is NECESSARY. Excellent English and written communication skills required. Candidate must be friendly, understanding, and have the ability to develop a rapport and interact with the individual. Only those candidates selected for an interview will be contacted.

Job Type: Part-time
Part-time hours: 6 per week

Salary: $22.00-$23.00 per hour
